Lauren Restina

Owner, Educator

Growing up in Naples, FL I developed a strong love of the ocean and the natural world. My family traveled as much as possible, further developing my curious spirit! I have always gravitated towards the arts and science-based subjects in school. With that being said, I originally attended college on a music scholarship to Concordia University Nebraska for vocal performance. However, I chose to double-major in geography & biology instead, graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in 2012. My deep love for both science and education led me to pursue a M.Ed in Environmental Education from Concordia University Portland, graduating in 2016.

My wonderful husband Scott supports me in every one of my passion projects, goals, and ventures. Scott is a veteran golfer and a professional caddy. We share two beautiful kiddos, Elsa and Anthony. I couldn’t be more thankful for him and Dustin’s support and for pushing Kristin and I to finally open Harmony Hybrid Education, Inc. after years of, ‘daydreaming.’

After teaching many different age groups for the past 7 years and administrative work for three of those years, Kristin and I decided it was time for a major change. Our children were the largest reason we decided to choose this path and pursue this unique style of hybrid blended learning. Our main goal was to create a harmonious space for engaged learning and enriching lessons throughout all subjects. Alongside customizing our facility down to every detail, being able to bring a true love of learning back to each student was the driving factor behind Harmony! We are thrilled to finally be serving children and their families in our own special way. We cannot wait to welcome the endless opportunities to come!

Kristin Reagle

Owner, Business Manager

I attended Indian River State College and graduated with my degree in Organizational Management. Naturally, being a business major was what cultivated that passion to one day have a business of my own. My career in education bloomed once my own children started school and I was offered a job in their educational system. The experience I had while teaching and the knowledge gained as an admin was priceless. In 2019, I met my new coworker Lauren and we instantly had a bond that would carry us through the best adventure of being co-business owners. Our like mindset was heightened in 2020 during COVID. As educators and administrators, we saw a desire for an alternative education. An education that involved a more hands on approach, applying the Florida Standards to real life situations, nurturing the students social and emotional health, and promoting a nature-based environment.

In August 2022, our hearts led us to follow our dream. The idea of Harmony Hybrid Education was always that, just an idea, until Lauren and I’s husbands, who like I said are incredibly supportive, convinced us that not only did our own children need a school like Harmony, but so did our community. As a result of four months of lesson planning, major construction, and everything that goes along with opening a new business, Harmony opened its doors in January 2023. My family and the Restina’s couldn’t be happier to share Harmony with you all!

Hannah Mooney

Educator

I have two mini goldendoodles named Maui and Kona. Since I was little, I’ve always known I wanted to be a teacher. I’m thrilled to be joining the Harmony family as I kick off my journey as a first year teacher!

I attended Florida International University where I earned my degree in Elementary and Special Education.

Eileen Khan

Educator

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in English from Villanova University, with concentrations in Writing & Rhetoric and Irish Studies. I went on to earn my Master’s in Education from Holy Family University and later completed post-master’s coursework in ESL and Cooperative Learning through Penn State.

Over the years, I’ve taught in Philadelphia classrooms, worked with English language learners, taught in microschool settings, and homeschooled my own two children when they were younger. Each experience has shaped the way I approach teaching and learning.

I’m wife to Ash and mom to two amazing kiddos, Ben and Caroline, who are in 7th and 3rd grade. They keep my days full of laughter, learning, crafts, adventures, and never a dull moment!

When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me exploring nature, writing poetry (I’m an author, too!), practicing yoga, doing crafts with Caroline, learning languages from Ben, or chasing my next adventure.

I’m passionate about nurturing not only strong learners, but kind, confident, curious, and wonder-filled humans. I’m so excited to be part of Harmony and look forward to getting to know all of our Ocean Campus families!

Elly Rodriguez

Educator

Beyond the classroom, I love being by the ocean, spending time with my boyfriend and our dog, Owen, and traveling. I am also a huge foodie, so I’m always looking for new recipes to try. I am so excited to call Stuart home and honored to be joining the Harmony family!

My graduate studies included a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis.
